According to the United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, new analysis shows that younger Blacks (in their 20s, 30s, and 40s) are living with or dying from many diseases typically found in Whites at older ages. At Color of Genes, we want to eliminate racial health disparities, especially for BIPOC individuals.
The field of human genetics has evolved to be more inclusively of Black, indigenous, and people of color, to reduce and eventually eliminate health inequities. This gave birth to Color of Genes. We provide culturally-conscious and evidence-based genetic health services and resources to promote optimal health.
